The season-opening UAE Tour saw Sam Bennett start 2021 like he finished 2020 with two impressive stage wins, including a milestone 50th career win.

In a hot and hectic seven day race marked by winds, cross-winds and echelons, Sam proved himself the reigning king of the fast men as he twice out-sprinted an assortment of the fastest men in the business.

Just in case you’re interested, Sam put out 1375 watts (that’s a lot!) over 10 seconds to sprint home at a speed of 72.2km/h.

Returning to his home away from home in Monaco straight after the race in UAE, Sam will be a big favourite going into some of the big early season European races.

Keep an eye on Sam’s website, www.sambennett.ie, as his race calendar evolves over the coming weeks.
