At the 2021 Tour of Britain, UCI Continental Team TRINITY Racing and their official virtual training partner ZWIFT launched an engaging activation to bring the Team’s fans and followers closer to the riders on race-day than ever before. As TRINITY’s riders prepared for the 18.2km Team Time Trial in Llandello, Wales (stage 3 of the UK’s biggest cycling race of the year), they were joined online (via ZWIFT) by fans and followers from around the world.

As the Team went through it’s full warm up live and online, under the instruction of TRINITY Directeur sportif and ex-professional cyclist Ian Stannard, many rode alongside them on the virtual cycling platform…enjoying a high intensity workout on a virtual route which replicated the course that TRINITY’s young riders would tackle later that day.

The activation was a great success and the TRINITY riders didn’t disappoint in the race itself! Despite their lack of experience in the TTT discipline, they put in an excellent team ride (averaging over 50 km/h) to finish in the top 10 of the stage.
